The Denver Botanic Gardens is a stunning oasis located in the heart of Denver. Spanning 24 acres, this urban botanical sanctuary offers visitors a tranquil escape from the bustling city. Regular admission was $10 per person when we visited.

The gardens are meticulously designed and meticulously maintained, featuring a diverse array of plant species from around the world. With themed gardens, such as the Japanese Garden, the Rock Alpine Garden, and the Romantic Gardens, visitors can explore different horticultural landscapes and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature. Strolling along winding pathways, visitors can enjoy the vibrant colors, fragrant blooms, and peaceful ambiance that the gardens offer throughout the year.

The Denver Botanic Gardens also boasts impressive architectural features and captivating art installations. The iconic Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory is a must-visit, housing a lush tropical rainforest that transports visitors to exotic locales. The facility also includes a solar-powered amphitheater, where visitors can attend concerts, performances, and outdoor film screenings.

We saw all kinds of interesting people there! Just beware, there’s also a good amount of homeless people roaming the area.
