Heaven

We found a delicious ice cream and gelato place in Cherry Creek, called Heaven. It’s located right down the street from where we stayed at the Jacquard Hotel.

This place is a delightful destination for ice cream lovers seeking a heavenly treat. With a rotating selection of unique and inventive flavors, Heaven offers a delightful twist on classic favorites. From the rich and velvety Chocolate Nirvana to the refreshing and fruity flavors of Mango Paradise, each scoop is a taste of frozen bliss. We recommend the Peach and Pistachio gelato in a waffle cone!

Blue Pan Pizza is a local gem that has gained a reputation for serving some of the city’s best pizza. Nestled in the West Highland neighborhood, this cozy pizzeria offers a unique twist on traditional Detroit-style pizza, making it a must-visit destination for pizza enthusiasts.

Blue Pan Pizza takes pride in crafting their pies using a special recipe that pays homage to the Motor City’s pizza tradition. Their Detroit-style pizza is characterized by its thick, rectangular crust that is crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. Toppings are layered generously, with the cheese forming a caramelized edge along the crust. The result is a delectable pizza that strikes the perfect balance between chewiness and crispness.

The menu at Blue Pan Pizza features an enticing array of specialty pizzas, each crafted with care and attention to detail. From classic favorites like the “70s Pie” with pepperoni and banana peppers to unique creations like the “Palisade Peach” topped with Palisade peaches, prosciutto, and goat cheese, there is something for everyone. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available, ensuring everyone can indulge in the deliciousness.

Zoe Ma Ma is a nice little Chinese restaurant located downtown next to Union Station. It’s outside of Union Station, right next to the Thirsty Lion Gastropub. It’s really easy to miss, so look carefully before walking off too far from Union Station!

They have a casual atmosphere with traditional Chinese street food. One of the highlights at Zoe Ma Ma is their dumplings, steamed and pan-fried, filled with a variety of fillings such as pork, chicken, or vegetables. The restaurant also has a selection of hand-pulled noodles, including beef noodle soup, spicy Sichuan dan dan noodles, and vegetarian options.
